Walnut Grove of Academy opened its doors June 18, 2007. This facility is equipped with the most up-to-date technology in child care. The Academy is licensed for 150 children.
The parents are given a pass code to enter the building or must be buzzed in by the office staff. Security cameras are located outside and inside the building and will be monitored by management.
Walnut Grove Academy is organized to provide high quality child care and education. We have made the rooms small for the pre-toddlers and toddlers to have a more one-on-one atmosphere. We have a wonderful large multipurpose room for all of our plays, graduations, parties, visitors, etc.
The Academy has a beautiful media room with six computers, printers, and flat screen monitors for the children's education. Children have access to this technology on a weekly basis in our media room. Walnut Grove Academy also participates in the ABC Mouse program.
You will find children's music playing in the building on our great sound system. If a teacher needs someone to help in their classroom, this system is also an intercom to call the office staff for assistance.
In our infant room, tiny fiber-optic lights twinkle above the cribs helping the infants fall to sleep as if under the starry sky. Soft, instrumental music plays in the background to soothe the babies to sleep.

What will I need to bring on the first day?
A completed registration form, Immunization records, and a proof of birth are all required on the first day. The director will provide you with a list of any additional supplies your child might need.
Do you accept children with food allergies?
Yes, we do accept children with food allergies.
When is tuition due?
Tuition is due by the end of the first day of the week your child attends the center each week. You may pay in advance. We accept Checks, Money Orders, Credit and Debit Cards.
Is there a late pick-up fee?
If you pick up after closing hours there is a late charge.
Do you provide care for all ages?
We offer care for ages birth-13 years old..
