Walnut Grove has a long history of  educating and developing loving, enthusiastic, and understanding staff members. We will train and encourage our staff  to meet minimum educational goals set by the State of Virginia for child care providers in a licensed  center.  This minimum training is just the beginning of your child care career!

As a staff member at Walnut Grove you will be CPR, First Aid, and Food Handling  trained.  You will also be encouraged to take  MAT (medication) training.  In addition to basic training, Walnut Grove offers our employees the opportunity to receive their Child Development Associates credential.  We offer educational assistance to employees who would like to further their education in child care.
